Our company's metal processing and forming methods for new energy vehicles

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to March, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 1.65 million and 1.586 million respectively, with a market share of 26.1%. According to experts' estimates, the domestic market share of new energy vehicles will exceed 90% by 2030, and around 2040, China's automotive market will achieve the substitution of new energy vehicles for fuel vehicles in the newly added parts.

New energy has sparked an industry revolution, but do you know the difference between the supply chain of new energy vehicle companies and traditional automobile supply chains? Our company mainly serves new energy vehicle companies and power battery manufacturers, providing them with high-quality metal parts. Our company can provide diversified metal processing and forming methods according to the quality requirements of different enterprises. The main existing metal processing methods include:

1. Stamping forming

Stamping forming is a production technology that utilizes the power of stamping equipment to directly deform the sheet metal in the mold, thereby obtaining a certain shape, size, and performance of product parts. Sheet metal, molds, and equipment are the three elements of stamping forming.

Our company has over 80 punching machines of various sizes, divided into single process mold stamping and continuous mold stamping. Stamping forming is also the main processing method for various new energy vehicle parts.

2. Stretch forming

Stretch forming is a stamping process that uses a mold to form a flat blank into an open hollow part. Stretching can be used to produce thin-walled parts with irregular shapes such as cylindrical, rectangular, stepped, spherical, etc. If combined with other stamping forming processes, more complex shaped parts can also be manufactured.

Our company's stretching molding is mainly used for processing various shells of new energy vehicle power batteries.

3. Welding

Metal welding method is a process that connects two workpieces by inputting high-density energy (thermal energy, pressure energy, or wave energy) into the interface between them, causing atomic (or molecular) bonding between them.

The main welding processing methods of our spare parts for new energy vehicles include laser welding, resistance welding, molecular diffusion welding, etc.

4. Cold forging

Cold forging is the forming process of materials below the recrystallization temperature, which is carried out below the recovery temperature. Forging without heating the blank is commonly referred to as cold forging in production. Cold forging has good surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Cold forging can strengthen the metal and improve the strength of the parts.

Our company's cold forging processing products mainly include IGBT radiators, IGBT modules, etc.

5. Etching

Etching, also known as photochemical etching, refers to the removal of the protective film from the area to be etched after exposure plate making and development. During etching, it comes into contact with a chemical solution to dissolve corrosion and form a concave convex or hollow shaped workpiece.

Our company is oriented towards the new energy vehicle industry, and our main etching products include: car welcome pedal decorative strips, car speaker covers, etc.

Our company focuses on the research and development and manufacturing of new energy vehicle three electric and high-voltage system structural components, battery cell shells, cover plates, pack modules, energy storage modules, and IGBT module structural components. We are committed to becoming a globally renowned supplier of power battery structural components and new energy vehicle component solutions. In the future, we will continue to improve manufacturing processes, introduce new ideas, and improve quality and efficiency for the new energy vehicle industry.
